Has any one heard if crysler moved forward on the idea of building a fiat at this plant in brampton?
Any new plant in Brampton would be great. If it is a Fiat, I think this is the best option, since they alreay are doing muscle cars - looks like the retooling could be done much quicker at this plant.
This is what CEO Sergio Marchionne has to say:
"We're interested in seeing what we can do with the platform for the 300 here and in the U.S.," he said before a business speech late Thursday, adding that Fiat "might still" use the 300 platform at the Chrysler plant in Brampton, Ont., to build its own vehicles.
